Abstract
"In light of the tremendous technological progress and significant impact brought about by industrial revolutions in various fields, the field of industrial design faces numerous challenges. Amidst these changes, understanding the future becomes crucial for industrial designers. Therefore, they must look towards the future and work diligently on designing future products and services that meet user needs. Future thinking skills are considered a fundamental pillar for innovation and development. These skills constitute the methodological set that enables designers to engage in strategic thinking and deep analysis of future trends, predicting possible changes. It has become essential to study the relationship between future thinking skills and product design, as these skills play a crucial role in identifying future needs and guiding design processes towards innovation. This research explores the relationship between future thinking skills and the product design process, reviewing the concept of future thinking, its skills, and how to design future products that meet user needs through the correlation of future thinking skills with the product design process."
