Abstract

Color is a sensory, perceptible thing that does not exist outside the human nervous system. Color therapy is a complementary treatment that has been used for thousands of years in many ancient cultures in Egypt, China, and India. In this research, a group of units and symbols from Indian culture (Chakras) was chosen, and a consistent color group was used to color the designs, emphasizing the dominance of the color element. This research seeks to find a fashion trend from the field of bioenergy to create designs suitable for hyperactive children in late childhood (from 9 to 12 years) and to benefit from them in improving the psychological state of children. Therefore, eight designs for clothing for hyperactive children of both sexes (males/females) were prepared to suit the morning and afternoon periods. Experts agreed that the fifth design, inspired by the crown chakra, is the best design. It obtained the highest quality factor in most of the evaluation objectives, due to the color element (violet color) was also achieved in this The design has a clear effect on hyperactive children as an aid to modifying their behavior. The research presented innovative design ideas that enrich the functional and aesthetic aspects of children’s clothing. It also aims to meet the clothing needs of hyperactive children in late childhood, and carries with it positive energy that contributes to improving the children’s mood and psychological state through the use of Colors as an alternative treatment.
