Abstract
This research explores the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in interior design education, focusing on the impact of AI rendering tools on student creativity, learning efficiency, and the development of future-oriented skills. Using a case study methodology, the study evaluates student experiences with three prominent AI rendering platforms. The findings indicate that AI tools significantly enhance students' abilities to visualize, iterate, and experiment with design concepts, leading to improved design outcomes by broadening their creative horizons and expediting the design process. However, challenges related to rendering accuracy and tool usability were identified, highlighting the need for a balanced integration of AI tools with traditional methods. The study concludes that while AI rendering platforms offer substantial benefits in fostering creativity and efficiency, their full potential in interior design education requires ongoing refinement and thoughtful implementation. This research contributes to the growing understanding of AI’s role in reshaping interior design education, providing insights into both the opportunities and challenges associated with integrating advanced technologies into academic curricula and suggesting directions for future research and practice.
