Abstract
Heritage buildings convey the history of place and time, it maintains and preserves the different identities in which the building is built for. Adaptive reuse is the process of sustaining the Architecture and Interior design of the heritage building to protect, sustain and extend the age of the building and defending it from demolishing. The research illustrates the Adaptive reuse in heritage buildings which became museums after adaptation and restoration processes including mass addition and extension processes. A case study is mentioned including Aisha Fahmy Palace, which was site visited by the researcher to reveal the adaptation and restoration processes to became a museum and a complex of arts centre
